Procurement Senior Specialist

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and processes for efficient supply chain operations.
- Research, develop, assess, analyze, and prepare procurement requirements as per Supply Chain Management needs.
- Control and restock areas under Clinical Procurement & Material Management.
- Develop expertise in Supply Chain Operations and define key performance indicators for each area.
- Track, report, and recommend changes in functional areas to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate reports on asset life span and recommend purchases as needed.
- Analyze financial, operational, and expense data across areas including freight and transportation performance.
- Collaborate with stores to address warehouse and delivery issues.
- Inspect stock and non-stock items for quantity and condition prior to acceptance.
- Ensure compliance with corporate risk management, safety, training, inventory control, security, and material handling programs.
- Convert Clinical Development requirements into actionable supply plans.
- Lead forecasting efforts, conduct stakeholder meetings, and resolve resource conflicts as needed.
- Maintain strong business relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure confidentiality to protect sensitive information.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Healthcare Procurement within a supply chain environment.
- Proficient in Oracle EBS.
- Certification in procurement is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication, with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Visio).
- Ability to manage time effectively and achieve results through others.
- High ethical standards and professional representation of the client
- Strong negotiation skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR25,000.00 per month
