Position: Psychology Instructor
Location: Doha, Qatar
Are you an expert in psychology with a passion for teaching and shaping the minds of future mental health professionals? As a Psychology Instructor at the Global Studies Institute, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and insightful courses to psychology students, ensuring they receive a well-rounded education to prepare them for their careers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality psychology courses in line with the curriculum.
• Teach both foundational and advanced psychology topics, integrating real-world applications.
• Create and maintain a dynamic and interactive classroom environment that fosters learning and student engagement.
• Conduct lectures, seminars, and discussions to facilitate understanding of key psychological theories and practices.
• Develop and implement assessments, exams, and assignments to evaluate student knowledge and progress.
• Provide personalized feedback and academic support to students to help them excel in their studies.
• Stay current with research and trends in psychology to bring the latest knowledge into the classroom.
• Mentor and advise students on academic progress, research projects, and career paths.
• Collaborate with faculty members to continuously improve the psychology curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and institutional initiatives.

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE Ph D in Psychology or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in teaching psychology at the university level.
• A strong research background and experience in applying psychological theories in professional practice.
• Must currently reside in Qatar and hold a valid Qatari ID.

Skills Required:

• Deep knowledge of psychology topics and ability to present complex ideas in a clear and accessible way.
• Exceptional teaching and instructional skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
• Analytical and organizational skills to design comprehensive lesson plans and assessments.
