Position: Teaching Assistant (Psychology Majors)
Are you passionate about psychology and dedicated to nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals? As a Teaching Assistant at the Global Studies Institute, you will play a pivotal role in assisting faculty and supporting students, guiding them toward success in their academic and career pursuits.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist faculty with preparing and delivering high-quality psychology courses.
• Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum covering key psychology topics.
• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one guidance and support to address individual student needs and challenges.
• Assist in administering practice tests and assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Help analyze assessment results to identify areas of improvement and develop tailored study plans.
• Maintain a well-organized and conducive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom activities, materials, and resources efficiently.
• Maintain open and effective communication with students.
• Provide regular progress reports to students and faculty as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in psychology education.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Significant experience in a teaching or tutoring role, preferably with psychology students.
• Must currently reside in Qatar and hold a valid Qatari ID.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay: Up to QAR100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:

• Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
