• Participate in the teaching of basic clinical skills at the pre-clerkship phase i.e. clinical skills labs: preparation of clinical skills sessions, delivery and evaluation.
• Organize and participate in clinical assessments and examinations including OSCEs.
• Facilitate small group teaching such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) tutorials;
• Assist in organizing students’ field visits and training in clinical and community health settings.
• Assist in teaching and organizing clinical CME activities including faculty development.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of equipment necessary to achieve the aims of the class/tutorial (e.g. computers, software packages).
• Keep records of student attendance using the University system.
• Facilitate and/or lead group discussions, either in small groups or with the whole class.
• Report briefly on the attendance and work of each student at the end of each semester.
• Distribute, and arrange for return of, course evaluation questionnaires for each tutorial group taught.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Medicine & Surgery (MBBS, MD, or equivalent )
• At least two years of experience in clinical practice.
• Experience in medical education is an advantage.
