Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Manages projects through all aspects of the design process.
• Guides the aesthetic and technical development of assigned projects.
• Takes responsibility for the financial performance of assigned projects.
• Leads, organizes and directs teams of more junior staff in the execution of assigned projects.
• Coordinates with other internal disciplines and manages the activities of outside sub-consultants in the execution of assigned projects.
• Prepares technical and financial proposals for designated project opportunities.
• Performs other related tasks as directed.
• Demonstrates strong senior leadership potential.
• Demonstrates an expert understanding of the aesthetic, technical, resource, and financial components of landscape architecture.
• Demonstrates an expert understanding of production techniques, procedures, and standards.
• Possesses the ability to develop technical scopes of works, resource allocations, and financial fees for project opportunities.
• Possesses construction administration experience on landscape projects.
• Demonstrates an expert understanding of industry codes/standards/health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
• Demonstrates an expert understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.
• Demonstrates a team oriented and collaborative approach to Landscape Architecture within the design team.
• Performs other related tasks as directed.
