Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning and scheduling, with a strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. The Senior Planner will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project plans to ensure timely and successful project delivery, as well as managing claims and conducting delay analysis.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning and scheduling, with a strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. The Senior Planner will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project plans to ensure timely and successful project delivery, as well as managing claims and conducting delay analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for projects.
- Create, manage, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Establish project baselines and ensure adherence to them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze the critical path and provide insights on potential risks and delays.
- Conduct delay analysis and develop reports to support claims management.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align project objectives and timelines.
- Prepare regular progress reports, including performance metrics and forecasts.
- Identify areas for improvement in planning processes and implement best practices.
- Support junior planners as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning within the construction or engineering industry, with experience in both civil and MEP projects.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project software.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, WBS development, baseline management, claim management, and delay analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Qatar.
