Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM manager
The BIM Manager will be responsible from initial modelling auditing to supervise, coordinate or execute all actions required to develop models from LOD 200 to LOD 500.
The BIM manager should be familiar with Naviswork to perform clash detection and implement, update and extract reports for the 4D activities.
Set up 4D and 5D for the new project through a detailed review of modelled quantities vs BOQ qty.
Thoroughly familiar with the 5D implementation, update and data extraction for both costs and profit.
Capable of supervising, coordinating, and updating models for the As-build production and the Cobie database.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and Maintenance:

• Implement and maintain control over the 3D, 4D, 5D, Cobie standards and processes.
• Ensure all models comply with company and project standards.

Control and Audit:

• Oversee the audit of BIM models, verifying completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions for discrepancies.

Model Updates and Maintenance:

• Update 3D BIM models monthly, ensuring they reflect the latest project information.
• Manage model updates for both non-variant modifications and changes subject to variations.
• Create federated models

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BIM outputs.
• Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and external consultants to ensure smooth workflow and information sharing.

Project Management:

• Manage and oversee all BIM-related activities assigned to the ICMD team.
• Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs and adherence to project timelines.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of BIM processes, updates, and outputs.
• Provide regular reports to project managers and senior management on BIM activities and progress.

Training and Support:

• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM standards and processes.
• Ensure all team members are proficient in BIM software and tools.

Qualifications:
Building Information Modeling (BIM) and BIM Coordination Skills:

• Proficient in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, Civil 3D, Auto CAD, ACC/BIM 360).
• Strong understanding of LOD standards and BIM execution plans.

Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Knowledge:

• Knowledgeable in MEP systems and their integration within BIM processes.

Experience in Implementing BIM Processes and Standards:

• Proven experience in managing and implementing BIM processes and standards on large-scale projects.

Strong Project Management Skills:

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Excellent Communication and Collaboration Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management or coordination.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.

Desirable:

• Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
• Experience working in an international context, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proficiency in HAP and Aconex would be an advantage.
