British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Analyst in Bucharest!

This role is ensuring that all controls prior payment (SOx and Non-SOx) is performed in a timely and accurate manner, that all Tax journal postings, Sanctioned vendor related activities are delivered in line with internal/SOx controls, all complex invoice corrections and queries are handled with high accuracy and in a business partnering manner etc.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all activities are being delivered within SLA and according to Sox and internal controls guidelines with 100% accuracy for all Invoice processing/Tax corrections, Tax journal postings and Pre-Payment controls.
• All Pre-Payment and Sox activities must be performed within tight cut-offs and in alignment with the standard payments calendar shared by Banking Ops team (most critical accountability - will be used when advertising).
• Apply with 100% accuracy all Sanctioned related controls within the end-to-end Invoice processing activities (most critical accountability - will be used when advertising).
• Processing of ad-hoc requests for emergency payments requests/manual payments of failed payments received from Banking Operations teams.
• Performs the UATs for new company code creation, new activity migration, new solutions implementation (automation solutions);;

What are we looking for-

• Advanced English and Ms. Office skills (especially Excel and Outlook).
• 1 - 2 years' experience in Finance and Accounting in a multinational corporation.
• High attention to details and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage partners with high professionalism and facilitate meetings and calls.
• Ability to meet deadlines, good time management.
