Accounts Receivable Officer

The Accounts Receivable Officer is part of our global corporate Finance team, which is the beating heart of all financial management and operations at Human8. Our teams are currently based in Ghent (Belgium), Manchester (U.K.) and Timisoara (Romania). The role, together with the co-located team, will further strengthen and build our rapidly growing corporate Finance team in our office in Timisoara.
The Accounts Receivable Officer will manage our company’s accounts receivable financial administration and will be responsible for organizing, reviewing, and initial processing of financial transactions (invoices, payments, purchase orders). The Accounts Receivable Officer ensure we process all financial transactions accurately and on time. Together with the team and supported by our Senior Accountants, the Accounts Receivable Officer will be accountable for one or more of the Human8 group entities.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the accounts receivable administration.
  • Manage obligations to customers and follow up reception of client purchase orders.
  • Prepare, create, send, and store client invoices digitally, and process bank statements.
  • Manage first line collections and send reminders to clients to ensure timely payments supported by our client management system.
  • Report on the status of accounts receivable and client balances.
  • Process accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data.
  • Accomplish accounting and organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Respond to all requests for accounts receivable information or analysis to the client.
  • Support the month end process.
    Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary
Qualifications
Technical knowledge
  • Have advanced knowledge of all the tools used for performing the key responsibilities.
  • Can put knowledge on (new) tools into practice.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in using of the following is recommended: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power-Point).
  • Have advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets).
  • Have a good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.
Language knowledge
  • Manage English at a professional level (verbal/ writing) and able to have a fluent and accurate conversation.
Qualifications
  • Education level - a bachelor’s degree (e.g. Finance, Accounting. Marketing, Mathematics or similar)
  • Experience – 2-3 years of experience.
