JOB PURPOSE
Area Team Leader Bucharest & East Romania is responsible for the development of the relations with the partners’ representatives (branch managers and Distributors’ Sales Agents), as well as for the management of working relations in optimal conditions between the subordinate UFS SR and DSR, the subordinate SR team (having the support of the Area Sales Supervisor), in order to reach and exceed the targets.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
SALES OUT:

Planning, monitoring, coordinating and controlling the daily activity of Sales Representatives in the assigned area (routes, objectives, demonstration program, new customers, value target / day, REACH targets = no. of active customers and PENETRATION = no. of SKUs listed/ client);

Creation, maintenance and development of the customer database in order to ensure maximum coverage of the assigned area;

Developing the professional and digital skills of subordinate Sales Representatives through coaching, training, performance evaluation, providing constructive feedback and support in overcoming problems, building a personal development plan;

Setting monthly targets, monitoring their achievement, controlling the daily activity of Sales Reps, making visit reports and solving poor performances or situations that are not in accordance with the way of working and UFS standards;

Coordinating the implementation of UFS national promotions, monitoring them and taking the necessary measures to achieve the targets, KPIs of implemented promotions, providing feedback to Channel marketing for the development of successful promotional mechanisms, as well as initiating local promotions with the aim of maximizing UFS sales on the allocated area and the timely sale of short-term products;

Control of the local promotions budget, consumption of samples, promotional materials vs target for all Sales Reps in the assigned area;

Verification of distributors' reports regarding sales out and stocks;

Monitoring the stock situation in the distributors' warehouses in the area of responsibility to avoid the risk of expiration, as well as the UFS stock to avoid the risk of expiration;

Validation of requests for local promotions: verification of the profitability of the proposed promotions with the Finance and Country Manager team, confirmation in writing (e-mail) of requests for promotions from Sales reps and distributors;

Verification of distributors' reports and written validation of credit notes for promotions from the marketing budget, products granted free of charge, or discount promotions - for all promotions implemented in the area of responsibility;

Developing the relationship with key clients in the assigned area for providing support in the activity of Sales reps and maximizing sales;

Providing support to other departments of UFS (Marketing, R&D, Financial) for volume estimates (S&OP process), market studies, client interviews, product testing, sampling activity, monitoring promotions, etc.;

Building and maintaining constructive professional relationships with the teams of active distributors in the assigned area;

Finding effective methods for the positive motivation of the sales team in the assigned area;

Ensuring the fast and efficient implementation in the assigned area of all tasks arising from the decisions taken by the UFS management team;

Monitoring the activity of the competition for marketing objectives (informing the Sales and Marketing department about newly launched products, promotions, etc.)
SALES IN :

Involvement in the ordering process by providing input regarding the estimated orders for customers in the area of responsibility and order proposals in order to ensure the necessary stock to cover sales out orders;
