The ideal Art Director will bring a mix of artistic, marketing and business expertise to the position, promoting the company and that of their valued clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand identity Ambassador:

• Own & communicate consistently brand guidelines & brand tone of voice to all stakeholders including the clients country managers.
• Setting up high standards through quality controls & mentoring approaches, styles & techniques for the designer team.
• Manage a team of external designers & ensure that their work is aligned with Brand vision.
• Manage the objectives, workload & performance of his/her reports.
• Ensure that BAU briefs are consistently clear, complete & in line with Brand guidelines, with the active support of our Traffic Coordinator.
• Ensure team adheres to current processes, identifies opportunities for improvement & proposes and creates processes and tools to support design operations.

Campaign Indication:

• Conceptualize campaign vision, harnessing original graphics, copy, website content, social media, and other marketing materials through qualitative story boards, seeking feedback, approval & alignment with our Brand Director.
• Develop creative briefs based on ideas from brainstorming sessions, with direction, schedules & deliverables for the creative team.
• Obtain team approval of final layouts, storyboards, & illustrations; encourage members to provide feedback & respond to internal commentary & requests.
• Oversee presentation of final concepts, present deliverables in an enticing & inspiring way to various stakeholders, & coordinate production and dissemination for cross-organizational use.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales divisions in creating marketing plans and aligning team priorities with business objectives so that high-quality work is delivered on time and on budget.
• Analyze market trends, consumer needs & competitor landscape, & consolidate campaign performance for final output.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-year experience as an Art Director or in a managerial role in graphic design
• English – minimum C2
• 2-year (or more) experience in the industry is a plus
• Experience in web development
• Solid knowledge of photography & video production
• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud
• Exceptional ability in typography, layout & prototyping
• Highly skilled in leading a team of creatives
• Strong creative vision with attention to business objectives
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in fine art, graphic design, or similar discipline
