Assets Operations Specialist

The Asset Operations team is responsible for managing the delivery of asset positions of the balance sheet from the financial controllers of various business units with all the attributes required for Risk and Regulatory Reporting regarding these positions. You will be part of the Finance Service Center Alfred team within NN Group, through the local division setting. Within this team, you would be responsible ensuring a control framework consisting out of data quality of reporting data sent to the responsible business units of these reporting and ensuring that this is done within strict timelines of month end reporting.

You will be part of a team that executes activities and checks such as delta changes of static data, managing data issues and ensuring governance is maintained about derivations can calculations systematically performed before reports are sent out.

Responsibilities

Run: 50%

Executing activities on a runbook during month end in a timely, correct, uniform and consistent way
Serving as a primary point of contact for some of the business units who needs to deliver data

Change: 50%

Testing new changes on reports
Signal and detect bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in processes and systems, initiate and implement proposals for improvement
Addressing findings or inconsistencies found in information or responses regarding problems in data delivery and ensuring any system changes or processes are adjusted for upcoming deliveries.

You identify and resolve operational issues efficiently. Strong analytical skills with the ability to express and communicate views, both written and verbally. Furthermore, you have for the position of Junior Operations Analyst:
- A bachelor's degree in finance and/or economics is required
- Knowledge of financial instruments and experience in MS Office Suite (especially excel)
- Preferably knowledge of Power BI, SQL
- Principles of agile way of working is advantageous
- Fluency in English is a must have

You will be part of a team of experienced professionals which are working with the Dutch and international NN Insurance entities, Investment Operations and Group Risk and Group Finance to deliver accurate, consistent, timely and high-quality data regarding Assets. We have a hybrid way of working and you are required to be in the office two times a week.

The monthly salary range for the Assets Operations Specialist role is between 14.200- 24.200 lei gross. The salary range showcased is only indicative. The final benefits package will be agreed upon during final negotiations with each candidate, by considering different criteria, such as the experience and skills level. Therefore, the finally agreed salary will stay confidential, as per the applicable law and we reserve the right to apply adjustments to the offer at any time during the hiring process.
