JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Sales & Distribution leads all sales and distribution efforts on behalf of our hotel. They provide day to day leadership to sales associates to achieve property sales objectives with overall responsibility for achieving booking goals and property revenues.
The position drives guest satisfaction and service focusing on sales effectiveness and creative customer driven solutions. In addition, the role is responsible of using all available resources and data analysis to explore new business opportunities, such as new industry segments, competitive analysis to help the hotel win market share and achieve its targeted total sales.

JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Sales & Distribution leads all sales and distribution efforts on behalf of our hotel. They provide day to day leadership to sales associates to achieve property sales objectives with overall responsibility for achieving booking goals and property revenues.
The position drives guest satisfaction and service focusing on sales effectiveness and creative customer driven solutions. In addition, the role is responsible of using all available resources and data analysis to explore new business opportunities, such as new industry segments, competitive analysis to help the hotel win market share and achieve its targeted total sales.
As our Director of Sales and Distribution, you will:
- Work with management team to create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and the market for the segment.
- Assist with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.
- Provide leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets example with personal booking goals).
- Recommend booking goals for sales team members.
- Monitor all day-to-day activities of the sales team.
- Actively participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and/or close on business.
- Support the operational aspects of business booked when needed.
- Analyze and report on Sales and Financial Data.
- Analyze market information by using sales systems and implement strategy to achieve our hotel’s financial goals.
- Review sales and catering guest satisfaction results to identify areas of improvement.
- Display leadership in guest hospitality, exemplify customer service and create a positive example for guest relations.
- Gain understanding of our hotel’s primary target customer and service expectations.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure the hotel’s needs are being achieved.
- Attend customer events, trade shows and sales missions to maintain, build or develop key relationships with current and potential customers and stakeholders.
- Actively participates in the hiring process of new members of the sales team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management or related fields;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a sales leader in the hospitality;
- Previous exposure in the hospitality luxury segment represents a strong advantage;
- Excellent communication and project management skills;
- Results-driven strategic thinker;
- Creative, innovative mindset;
- Strong customer focus and understanding of the luxury lifestyle market and trends;
- Sales budget management and planning.
