Electrical & Automation System Design Engineer
Location: Zalau, Romania
Department: Engineering – Automation – formed by 130+ people, organized in different teams around the world (Europe, North, Central and South America) and plays a crucial role in Tenaris.

• Degreed in: Automation / Mechatronics / Industrial Robotics / Electrical Engineering
• Language: English - advanced
• Specific knowledge: PLC Programming, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation

What will you do in your day to day job

• analyze the basic engineering required to develop new installations or modify the existing ones
• propose new strategies/innovations during technical meetings with all areas.
• work with major automation third-party partners, applying latest industry standards (coming from Siemens, Schneider, and Rockwell as main brands) and safety criteria.
• deal with PLC software implementation, SCADA/HMI programming, drivers and motors definitions, industrial network and control panel design, electrical wiring and schematics, robotic cells.
• closely interact with our production, maintenance, and quality colleagues to understand their needs, develop customized solutions, and provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• manage automation projects, setting priorities, and meeting project deadlines.
