British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Material Technologist in Ploiesti.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Approves development or changes in the materials from factory perspective.
Analyses technical specifications of the new/ modified machines to align material specifications with machine capability.
Coordinates regional initiatives related with material complexity reduction.
Assures support for new product development/ transfers to & from factory by analysing the material specifications.
Monitors the material runnability to identify and solve the problems associated with materials/ machines/ operators/ suppliers.
Measures the supplier performance.
Creates the material nonconformity reports and notifies the suppliers about all nonconformities.
Ensure that the claims are solved (Corrective and preventive actions are communicated and implemented by suppliers).

What are we looking for?

High school graduate (mechanical or technical)
At least one year experience with data base operation role.
Good PC skills.
Experience with ERP (“Material management” / “Production planning” / “Specifications and Bill of materials”)
Medium level of English knowledge.
