- Implementation Audit & Review: Perform a comprehensive audit of the current New Relic setup, identifying gaps and inefficiencies. Provide detailed reports and propose actionable strategies for improving the platform's usage.
- Optimization Recommendations: Offer practical recommendations for optimizing New Relic, with a focus on enhancing performance monitoring. Ensure the tool is aligned with the business objectives and can deliver the necessary insights for effective decision-making.
- Practical Implementation: Lead the implementation of recommended improvements, starting with one of our key services. Demonstrate how these changes drive better visibility and performance, proving the tool's value to stakeholders.
- Platform Development & Configuration: Assist in configuring New Relic to capture relevant metrics and data that provide better visibility into system performance. Extend monitoring capabilities to include infrastructure insights, ensuring a full-service overview.
- Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and guidance to internal teams on how to effectively utilize and maintain the New Relic platform. Ensure long-term self-sufficiency for the organization’s monitoring needs.
- Best Practices for Monitoring: Share expert knowledge in application performance monitoring, ensuring that New Relic is configured following industry best practices. Help the team stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in monitoring tools.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrable expertise in New Relic with a track record of successful implementations in similar roles or organizations.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and performance tuning. Familiarity with best practices in system observability and APM tools.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate the current system, identify shortcomings, and recommend improvements for effective performance tracking.
- Hands-on Experience: Practical experience in configuring and deploying New Relic for different applications and infrastructures.
- Communication Skills: Capable of explaining technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable leading training sessions and sharing knowledge with the internal team.
