About the role

We are seeking a skilled Plant Manager with a background in casting or similar manufacturing processes to lead a key production unit in Romania. This role is designed for an experienced manager who thrives in a technical environment, particularly in machining and assembly, and is driven by quality improvement and cost management. As the Plant Manager, you will oversee production operations, lead team development, and implement Lean strategies to ensure high standards and operational excellence.
Responsabilities:

• • Oversee all plant operations, including assembly, milling, and CNC machining, to meet and exceed quality and cost objectives.
  • Develop and execute plans to enhance production capacity and drive quality improvements, emphasizing Lean manufacturing at a world-class level.
  • Build a strong, locally-driven team culture while ensuring alignment with global operational standards.
  • Manage P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications:

• • 10+ years of experience in operations or production management within casting or heavy manufacturing, with hands-on experience in assembly and machining processes.
  • Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing, quality control, and continuous improvement, with a focus on creating efficient, compliant, and high-performing operations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international setting.
