Within our Project Management & Development team in Bucharest, we are looking for a Project Developer who will have the following responsibilities:

MISSION

Coordinate the promotion of future wind, solar and BESS plants, in accordance with the company guidelines, to develop the portfolio of the wind, solar and BESS projects for the successful fulfillment of the business plan.
Autonomously manage the business from the identification of opportunities, contracting with the landowners, selection of subcontractors for the engineering activities, coordinate the permitting process with all the internal and external stakeholders and deliver a ready to build project.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

1- DEVELOPMENT OF THE BUSINESS PLAN – Collaborate in the identification of suitable geographical locations in which to construct new renewable projects to contribute to the achievement of the business plan objectives. Knowledge of the administrative expectations and processes to perform in opportunities selection. Explore new and relevant sites through targeted personal research or through results made available, with public and private stakeholders.

2- RELATIONS WITH THE AUTHORITIES – Keep the progress on the projects under your control up to date, promote the exchange of information and ensure that the objectives are met, in order to allow the progress of the running projects to be monitored. Establish a network of stakeholder’s contacts with frequent ground presence.

3- RELATIONS WITH LANDOWNERS – Negotiate with the landowners the transfer of use of the affected ground for the project, power lines and the substations.

4- PERMITING PROCESS – Represent the company with local public or private stakeholders, state services and communities to make known and accepted projects and the company. Coordinate procedures to apply for necessary permits, coordinating the activities to set up all the docs in compliance with applicable law. Keep the progress on the projects according to schedule of permitting process, promote the exchange of information and ensure that the objectives are met according with the schedule and budget.

5- COORDINATION - Supervise and cooperate with the teams involved in each phase of the project (engineering, procurement, M&A, Energy assessment, environment, legal consultancy...), to ensure the complete coordination of all interventions. Coordinate all the designers and subcontractors involved in the permitting process to complete the permitting process in the allocated time and budget.

6- BUSINESS PLAN AND BUDGET ELABORATION – Take part in the definition and updating of the business plan and budget elaboration about the project assigned; take on the responsibility of fulfilling the delivery time and project costs in the assigned areas.

REQUIRED PROFILE

1- ACADEMIC LEVEL

University Degree

2- REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• +5 years’ experience in development and permitting of projects

• Experience in construction and connection of renewables projects represents an advantage

3- SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

• Permitting procedure for approval of PUZ and obtaining building permits

• Auto CAD and MS Office package

• Project Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar is considered a plus

• Electricity Sector knowledge in renewable matters regulation is a highly valued plus

4- LANGUAGES

• Romanian language and fluent English

5- SKILLS / COMPETENCES

• Negotiation skills;

• Written and verbal communication skills;

• Teamwork;

• Autonomy in decision making/problem solving;

• Relationship capacity with authorities;

• Ability to be self-motivated

• Driving license B category
