QA Automation Engineer (Python)

For this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Python to join our dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts, for a project focused on Digital Signing.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python for functional, regression, and performance testing
Collaborate with software developers and QA team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration (CI) pipeline
Contribute to test planning and strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Work closely with QA and development teams to identify testing requirements and create test scenarios
Conduct thorough testing to identify software defects and ensure adherence to quality standards
Document and report defects with clear and detailed information, including steps to reproduce
Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the automation framework to ensure scalability and efficiency
Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve automation processes

What are we looking for:

Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on Python
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Py Test)
Proficient in writing SQL queries for database validation
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
