Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid)

• Validation of technical documentation (Development Plans, Requirements specification, Architecture and Detail Design documents, Safety Concepts, Test Specifications and Reports, User manuals, Verification Reports)
• Validation of the test coverage and the fulfilment of coding rules
• Specification, implementation and execution of validation tests
• Evaluation of solved and unsolved defects regarding the safety and/or operational impact
• Validation of the engineering software development life-cycle adherence to the relevant norms (CENELEC railway standards)
• Responsible for the validation report that summarizes the results of validation activities

• Technical study of computer science, transportation, mathematics, physics or similar;

• Experiences in Software Development and/or System Engineering
• Experience in Railway Application Development is a plus
• Experience with safety relevant systems (preferable SIL4 according CENELEC 50128)
• Knowledge of functional safety standards like IEC 61508/61511, ISO 26262 or similar (preferred CENELEC EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, EN 50159)

• C/C++ (ability to understand source code)
• Java (ability to understand source code)

• Verification, validation or safety management of software applications
• Clear Case / GIT for Software Configuration Management
• Clear Quest / JIRA for Defect and Change Management
• DOORS for Requirements Management
• JIRA for task management
• Microsoft Office Tools

• Analytical thinking ability and good observation skills
• Structured and well-organised
• Teamwork
• Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team
• Availability to travel abroad from time to time, longer travel periods to Germany might be required for initial trainings

• English (very good reading and writing)
• German and/or French is a plus
