What you'll do

• You'll play a key role in developing application at the core of the company, as part of a small, high-performing team.
• You will influence the scope and technical direction as well as champion good practices within the team.
• You will continuously pursue clean code practices and contribute towards collaborating with our other Engineering and Product teams.
• You will work with engineers, researchers and data scientists to build the next generation of Everseen’s ML & Data applications
• You’ll help identify and realise capabilities that will significantly accelerate the transition of research to production across dataset and model management, labelling, annotations and more.
• You will work with big data and large volume of information where performance and latency are critical
• Deploy and continuously develop robust infrastructure, using good practices for managing infrastructure-as-code
• Run, monitor and maintain business-critical, production systems
• Adopt open-source technologies to best leverage our in-house resources
• Promote engineering good practices throughout the team
• Suggest, collect and synthesis requirements to create an effective feature roadmap

Reporting to

• Principal Engineer based in Iași, Romania.

Collaborating with

• Everseen’s Development Teams, Dev Ops Teams, ICT Teams, Product Teams.

Profile & Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development and full stack development experience with a focus on backend development.
• You will have a working knowledge of Azure cloud services (or cloud equivalent)
• Hands-on, delivering both code and detailed technical work. You have strong programming experience, from self-contained algorithms to complex object modelling design. Ideally you will have experience of writing code in Node JS with Typescript and one of the following Golang/Java/Python etc (or a combination of these)
• Strong understanding of Cloud computing and services
• Practical experience with building Dev Ops pipelines and stacks. You have previous experience of working within a CI/CD environment and Docker.
• You have had experience of working with Sync/Async APIs and Messaging
• You are a passionate about delivering innovative solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction, focusing on customer experience as a top priority.
• You like to learn and share knowledge, and you are keen to understand Everseen’s business applications and technology.
• You demonstrate initiative, drive, and self-motivation in taking full ownership of your work and team.
• You have an advanced proficiency in verbal and written communication skills in business English.
