We are looking for Site Reliability Engineers who will join our client’s Agile team and focus on creating and maintaining automation tools, monitoring systems and incident response processes to enhance the overall reliability of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities/Activities

• Develop and manage monitoring solutions to detect and respond to system anomalies and performance issues
• Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools for deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management to streamline operations
• Lead incident response effort to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct capacity planning exercises, ensuring that the infrastructure can scale to meet growing demands
• Champion the use of Infrastructure as Code principles to manage and version control infrastructure configurations, ensuring consistency and repeatability
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize performance through best practices
• Collaborate closely with software development and Dev Ops teams to understand application architecture, provide guidance on reliability aspects, and contribute to designing scalable and resilient systems

Requirements

Technical

• At least 4 years of working experience as a SRE or a similar role
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Power Shell) and automation tools
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix)
• Strong knowledge of cloud platform (e.g., Azure) and container orchestration (e.g.,Open Shift)
• Solid understanding of networking principles
• Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Education

• University degree in Computer Science or other related fields preferred

• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English and Romanian)
• Ability to effectively interface with technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels
• Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
• Positive attitude and oriented towards solving problems
• Ability to work within the team and act as a mentor
• Ability to work under strict deadlines

Nice to have requirements

• Knowledge of ITIL and Agile concepts
• Knowledge of Web Services and Services Oriented Architecture
• Some experience with Java and/or .Net, web components and others
• Web Servers – configure and troubleshoot
