Parexel, a leading global clinical research organization, is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Support Specialist to join our Procurement team.
Position Overview
The Supplier Support Specialist serves as a critical liaison between our organization and its suppliers, efficiently managing and resolving escalated issues to ensure smooth procurement operations. This role is responsible for triaging supplier escalations and facilitating timely resolutions by assisting in the closure of Quality Incidents (QIs) and Performance Issue Tickets (PIs), thereby maintaining high standards of procurement quality and fostering positive supplier and stakeholder relationships.

• Reporting, Tracking, and Analytics
• Supplier Relationship Management
• Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Detailed Accountabilities

• Promptly receive and triage supplier escalations
• Monitor and manage Performance Issue tickets
• Generate quarterly reports on supplier performance, escalations, and quality metrics
• Foster positive relationships through proactive communication
• Identify opportunities to enhance supplier support processes
• Provide guidance on best practices for managing vendor escalations

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Experience in procurement, supplier management, or related field
• Demonstrated expertise in handling supplier escalations and resolving complex issues
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
• Familiarity with quality management systems and ticketing platforms
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency in Excel for report generation and data visualization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Additional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are considered a plus.
