- Provides L3 level support
- Is responsible for maintaining the company's systems and databases in operational and security conditions
- Defines and participates in preventive actions to be implemented: PMP (Preventive Maintenance Plan), Audit
- Create and consolidate documents for scheduled interventions (Change tickets)
- Keep technical documentation for administration, installation, and securing of the company’s systems and databases up to date
- Operate, administer, and maintain operating systems, provide technical support, manage databases, plan capacity, manage IT equipment performance, ensure compliance with IT security requirements
- Ensure the security, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of information systems and existing data
- Use expertise to address malfunctions/incidents on equipment, systems, and managed infrastructure
- Develop specifications, installation procedures, and commissioning of server and data storage infrastructures
- Ensure the administration of the inventory of materials and specific items
- Manage access rights to servers and technical applications based on user profiles and roles
- Handle incidents or anomalies based on internal requests: analyze the incident, identify the root cause, participate in or monitor its resolution
- Travel to company’s industrial sites worldwide as needed
- Participate in the On Call service (L3 support) for all plants, ensuring operational maintenance with a quick response in case of production impact
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administering/installing/monitoring/troubleshooting Linux, Windows, and VMware systems
- Fluency in written and spoken English (French is an advantage)
- Advanced experience working with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016
- Experience in monitoring large-scale systems and networks
- Experience in managing incident, problem, and request tickets in a ticketing system like Service Now
- Knowledge of operating in the e PO Mc Afee console
- Knowledge of Backup/Restore data (Veritas Net Backup or Atempo, Time Navigator is a plus)
- Knowledge of hardware and software architectures
- Intermediate knowledge of:
- DHCP, DNS, NTP, Apache, IIS, RAID systems
- Microsoft Windows server roles (AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, WSUS, IIS, etc.)
- Virtualization systems - VMware 6.0 or a newer version
- Linux-based distributions: red hat, Centos, and Rocky Linux
- Ansible automation
- Storage systems – NAS, SAN, SAN – LUN’s (Dell-EMC, HPE MSA, HP EVA)
- Basic knowledge of v Realize Operations Manager (v ROPs/v COPS)
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Power Shell, or Python)
- Patch management for Linux and Windows operating systems (Tanium platform is a plus)
- Ability to resolve problems/conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
