What we’re looking for
What you’ll be doing
- Define the way of working within the team adapted to the specificities of the activities, taking into consideration the objectives defined.
- Ensure an efficient communication channel inside the team for questions / requests for help on various issues.
- Escalate to manager or escalation points, in case of issues while working with other teams.
- Act as a single-entry point for new projects and identifies team members who will work on these projects.
- Expert in his field, ready to support all other team members, being constantly up to date with all the new technologies and trends in his field.
- Ensures that his colleagues are connected to the business climate and at the same time guarantee their initiatives proper publicity and visibility in the organization.
- Leads automation initiatives (eg, automation of repetitive manual tasks) and stimulate the team to generate improvement ideas to simply activities.
- Make sure architecture and operational procedures for infrastructure in the scope is shared with the team.
- Contributes to the performance evaluation process within the team, constantly and consistently providing feedback for each team member.
- Contributes to all processes in its area of activity: Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Configuration Management.
- Is responsible for the quality of operation of services and platforms: ensures that key indicators are maintained in accordance with existing service level agreements.
- Responds to customer complaints, evaluates and solves their problems, provides analysis of the cause of incidents.
- Produces on-demand reports on service quality.
- Constantly monitors the level of use of hardware and virtual resources under its responsibility, makes predictions regarding its evolution.
- Making sure that a good level of SLA it`s assured and RCA exists at the closing of the incidents to clearly show the cause and the solution, and preventive actions.
- Automate the monitoring process.
What you need to know/have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Networking domain.
- Strong knowledge about Iaa S solutions based on Openstack, a little bit of VMware, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana etc.
- Advance knowledge and experience in configuring and managing appliances from Cisco, Juniper, NOKIA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, HP, Dell , Arista and all the know vendors in the business.
- Experience with leading a project or coordinating a team will be a plus.
