Job Summary:
Provide consultations when needed and high quality of care to all patients in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. Highly trained in modern aspects of medical practice and utilize in the best advantage of Department function at all times and take the responsibilities of leadership with high clinical & administrative skills. The Consultant Rehabilitation is responsible for the care of his patients in accordance with the ethics of the medical profession and the laws and customs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within his experience and training.
Requirements:
Education and Licensure:

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or its equivalent from a recognized medical school.
• High Medical Degree such as (Saudi Board, Arab Board, American Board or Canadian, Fellowship, MRCP, MD, etc.) in Rehabilitation Medicine or its equivalent internationally recognized qualifications.
• A valid professional license to practice the specialty in the country of origin and from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• Current valid certification of Basic Life Support or obtaining that within 6 months of commencement of employment

Preferred:
Subspecialty, Fellowship Certificate or its equivalent internationally recognized high medical qualifications are essential requirement that is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of (3) years of professional experience in the practice of the specialty after obtaining the High Medical Degree.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Active contributor.
• Able to work extended hours.
• Discipline.
• Teaching; to demonstrate skills required for educational training to medical students, professions.
• Research; to demonstrate a proven ability and track record of engagement in research relating to the specialty.
• Ability to cope up with heavy workload, changing priorities and responsibilities
