Budget and Control Analyst

Location: Project Management Consultancy (PMC) – Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) Project – Riyadh
Industry: Water Infrastructure – TSE Networks, Water Transmission Pipelines, Pumping Stations, Tanks
Education: BSc with over 5 years or MSc with over 3 years of relevant Design and Supervision experience, with a degree or professional qualification
Language: Good command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking)
Role Overview:
The Budget and Control Analyst will monitor and control project budgets and costs, providing financial analysis and support to ensure that TSE project components align with budget goals. The analyst will collaborate with various teams on pumping stations, water transmission pipelines, and tanks to implement effective budget control measures and track project financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage budgets for the TSE project, ensuring all financial planning aligns with project objectives.
- Monitor actual costs versus budgeted figures, providing insights on cost variances and financial trends.
- Prepare regular financial reports and track budget metrics to assist in project decision-making.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to verify cost estimates, forecasts, and budget allocations.
- Implement cost control measures to support budget goals and mitigate potential budget overruns.
- Perform financial impact assessments for changes in project scope and provide cost-saving recommendations.
- Document and maintain financial records for compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- BSc with over 5 years of relevant experience or MSc with over 3 years in budgeting, financial planning, or cost control, ideally within water infrastructure or TSE projects.
- Professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and cost control tools, with experience in project management environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to communicate financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
