Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director - Commercial to join our team in NEOM, Saudi Arabia. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the development and execution of mixed-use commercial projects in one of the world's most ambitious and innovative urban development initiatives.

• Accountable for a variety of complex deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a Giga project.
• Responsible for both cost and contracts and project controls teams on a project.
• Oversee financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for potential developments
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government officials, and business partners
• Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood
• Reviews and responds to contractors claims in accordance with the provisions of the Conditions of Contract and ensure the Clients interests are protected
• Provides direct liaison with the Client project team.
• Reviews the contracts and commercial reports
• Represents the clients/AECOM in dispute resolutions/arbitration procedures.
• Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports
• Drive operational efficiency and financial performance across the portfolio

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of FIDIC suite of contracts.
• Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.
• Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams
• Experience of working within a client organization, either directly or through a co-location/secondment arrangement would be of benefit
• Exceptional project management skills, including budget oversight and timeline management.
• Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
• Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
• Willingness to relocate to NEOM, Saudi Arabia, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
