This role entails comprehensive responsibility for overseeing production setup, optimizing operational performance, and maximizing profitability.
The position requires skills in Operational Leadership, Strategic Planning:, Performance Management, Team Development, Stakeholder Engagement and Financial Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct production, maintenance, and logistics teams to meet safety, quality, cost, and output goals.
- Oversee the establishment and seamless operation of the steel fabrication unit.
- Formulate and execute strategies for growth, cost optimization, and efficiency improvement.
- Address operational risks while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations.
- Set and track KPIs to evaluate performance and foster continuous improvement.
- Align production capacity with sales objectives and achieve budgeted internal sales targets.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a skilled team while promoting collaboration and innovation.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, partners, government agencies, and regulators.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify market opportunities through trend and competitor analysis.
- Master’s degree in management; engineering background (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) is advantageous.
- 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Proven track record in setting up and managing steel fabrication or pipe and coating production units.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s market and business practices.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and financial acumen.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred; familiarity with multicultural work environments is essential.
