Key Responsibilities:
-
Register and maintain documents in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), Share Point, Aconex, Etc.
-
Manage and control project documentation in accordance with project procedures.
-
Ensure identification of documents and compliance with standard templates and format
-
Perform quality and compliance checks on all documentation received and before issuing.
-
Responsible for the collection, distribution, and storage of controlled documents, including being watchful of documents moving in and through the project to validate correct processing and recording.

Ensuring all metadata is supplied and properly registered into the system.

Providing Document Control support to project team members in retrieving documents
-
Register the receipt of documents from contractors.
-
Transmit documents to internal and external parties for review and information.
-
Transmit the comments on documents back to originators.
-
Ensure that all issued project documents are correct in accordance with document control procedures.
-
Maintain document filing & retention system for hard copy and electronic originals of documentation.
-
Keep up to date all incoming and outgoing submittal and correspondence logs.
-
Assist with queries on documentation requirements and submissions.

Hand-over of documentation to the Client Document Controller
-
Close out and archive project at end of shelf life
Requirements
-
Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification
-
Min 7 years relevant experience in a similar role in Document control and record management
-
Experience working with an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and Share Point, Aconex etc.
-
Possess good knowledge in document control and management processes and standards
-
Mature, proactive, take initiative and well organized
-
Systematic and able to work under pressure
-
Meticulous and able to follow through with tasks promptly
-
Able to work independently as well as in a team
-
Must be able to communicate confidently in both written and spoken English
-
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Words and Power Point)
-
Arabic translation advantageous
Skills & Competencies:
-
Essential experience in high buildings and infrastructure projects.
-
Site based experience is mandatory.
-
Previous experience in PMC and project delivery on significant schemes.
-
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English (Arabic preferred).
-
Strong presentation, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
-
Exceptional project management skills highlighting organization, time management, and flexibility.
-
Proven competence in overseeing multiple packages of work simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, and the ability to evaluate intricate design challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Applied financial acumen and attention to best value for investment within agreed budgets, ensuring cost-effective design solutions without compromising quality.
