Job Description:
We are looking for a Field Botanist for a period of 4-6 months, who will provide a full-time support in the execution of a Tree Field Survey, that will generate a comprehensive inventory of the date palms, native and exotic trees. The Survey will also include tagging/retagging of various trees and updating the existing tree inventory. The expected project start is end of September, 2024.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HSE, following risk management, and using adequate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Participate in the tree tagging activities, which include collection of data from approximately 27,000 trees.
- Review and ensure that the data collected within the field app is correctly collected and calibrated.
- BSc or MSc in Botany, Biology, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent.
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work in the field 5 days a week
- No prior experience is required
