JCB Arabia is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded General Manager
Job Title: General Manager - JCB Arabia

Location: Riyadh, KSA

Reports To: Regional General Manager, MEA

Position Overview:

JCB Arabia is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded General Manager to lead and grow our operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This pivotal role involves directing a motivated team and working closely with our local dealer to expand the Heavy Line business. The successful candidate will develop direct relationships with key customers, boosting market presence and converting opportunities into sales. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of JCB’s presence in the Saudi Arabian market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance JCB Heavy Line business growth in KSA.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a small, ambitious team to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional General Manager to align KSA strategies with regional market needs and JCB policies.
  • Collaborate closely with the local dealer, inspire the dealer to share JCB ambition to be closer to the customer.

2. Market Development:
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the KSA market.
  • Establish strong, direct relationships with major customers and stakeholders.
  • Enhance market coverage by supporting the local dealer in expanding their reach.
  • Explore and develop solutions to customers (Direct finance, buyback, rent to own, Machine Care, TCO)

3. Sales & Customer Relationship Management:
  • Drive sales performance by assisting dealers in converting opportunities into confirmed orders.
  • Foster lasting relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and business opportunities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the JCB and dealer Service and Parts departments to provide exceptional after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Operational Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the JCB Arabia team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage KSA dealer on regular basis making sure that dealer strategies and tactics are aligned with those of JCB
  • Bear responsibility for KSA overall market share with a special focus on Heavy Line products
  • Lead JCB 5-year planning, annual planning and monthly sales and Ex Work forecast for KSA.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.

5. Financial Management:
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor pricing strategies and maintain competitive advantage in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction equipment industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and business development.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and a results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
  • Readiness to take responsibility and be accountable for results.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales planning tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and Arabic.
