Your Job K och Engineered Solutions is looking for a Planner - Materials & Fabrication to join our KES Manufacturing hub in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
This role oversees the planning and coordination of materials and production flow within a manufacturing plant and execute production & Materials plans while ensuring the highest standards of EHS, Quality and Productivity are maintained .

What You Will Do

• Schedule the supply of materials to meet operational needs and maintain minimum stock levels.
• Allocate all raw materials based on the most efficient cutting plan to reduce scrap percentages and ensure the utilization of leftover materials.
• Support the Logistics team to ensure logistics activities are executed as planned.
• Generate cutting programs for the production team.
• Communicate with Project Management, Stores, and Procurement to ensure the timely availability of materials.
• Collaborate with other operational departments to fulfill customer needs.
• Prepare material plans for new projects.
• Support meeting or exceeding established On-Time Performance (OTP) delivery goals.
• Create and constantly review manufacturing routings in collaboration with the manufacturing team.
• Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control, and ensuring EHS & Quality compliance.
• Ensure accurate estimations and encourage the production team to explore alternative solutions for realistic estimates.
• Perform other duties as required in operations planning management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• MRP systems exposure in purchasing or planning or equivalent work.
• Excellent in word processing, spreadsheet, and general operating system computer skills, Auto Cad, Land Tek, Nesting Software's.
• Excellent communication skills to exchange information clearly and concisely with co-workers, supervisors, other departments, etc.
• Must be a team player who is willing to cooperate with and consider input
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and process prints
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
• Ability to work in a cross functional organization
• Strong manufacturing and Materials planning skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes associated with heat exchangers, flares, skids, and pressure vessels with international customers.
• Drafting and programming capabilities.
• Material Planning Experience.
• Professional with Lean deployment.
