Joseph Decorative Glass is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee our decorative glass projects across Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, UAE, and Riyadh. This role ensures that our projects are executed seamlessly, maintaining our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Scheduling and Management: Develop and manage project programmes, setting timelines, milestones, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Technical Review: Review engineering drawings, mock-ups, and technical specifications to confirm alignment with project standards and design requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Supervise quality checks, reviewing Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and Method Statements prepared by the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Mock-Up Coordination: Oversee the preparation and review of mock-ups for client evaluation, ensuring all specifications are accurately met.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout project execution.
- Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct regular site visits across RAK, Dubai, UAE, and Riyadh to monitor on-site compliance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve project issues to prevent delays and maintain seamless project progression.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering, ideally within decorative glass, fit-out, or construction industries.
- Proficiency in project management tools and experience managing schedules, budgets, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with HSE and quality standards, with experience in reviewing documentation such as ITPs, NCRs, and Method Statements.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Ras Al Khaimah, Dubai, and Riyadh as required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
