JOB PURPOSE

International Systems Engineering (ISE) provide the IT capability and service both onsite and centrally to all projects and programmes in BAE Systems Saudi Arabia and to our partner companies, BAE Systems Saudi Development and Training and SMSCMC.
ISE is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.
Project Manager is responsible for the management of many project, or one or more large project, consisting of multiple projects. The Project Manager may also be responsible for the management of strategic proposals. As PM, he/she is responsible for delivery of all contracts under their control to the agreed scope, time, cost and quality constraints. The Project Manager may also have departmental responsibility, and therefore will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the departmental IBP.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensure compliance with the ISE BMM/BMS/Gated Review Framework.

• Work closely with senior customer and suppliers representatives to maintain/build a good working relationship to manage large, strategic projects or programmes.

• Negotiation with senior customers and supplier representatives.

• Coordinating project/programme reporting via CSR to the business

• Ensure changes in project scope are handled appropriately

• Ownership of the P&L of the project assign

• Financial SSR/ EAC management

• Monthly Programme Reviews reporting

• In depth understanding and experience of the whole project lifecycle

• Change control processes and management

• Reports to Director of Commercial Business (Non-G2G)

• Development and maintenance of IBP and business planning concepts

• Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with the policies and procedures

• Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate / appraise the team and regular feedback on performance

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

• Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• Extensive experience in IT Services or IT Solutions is a must along with exposure in a managerial role

• Experience of building strategic relationships with customers and suppliers

• Holding an advanced Project Management qualification (APMQ, Prince etc.)

• Proven ability to design and manage the implementation of software architecture

• Advanced knowledge in a project scheduling tool e.g. MS Project

• Significant experience of Risk and Opportunity, Cost and Budget and Resource Management at a programme level

• Ability to assess risks and risk mitigation or contingency plans

• Ideally an in-depth knowledge of ISE business processes and functions

• Knowledge of ISE market, especially contractual relationships with RSAF/SANG etc is preferred
