Location: Al Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Job Summary: The Senior Contracts Administrator will play a key role in the successful execution and management of construction and development projects. This position requires strong contract administration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with contractual obligations while minimizing risk exposure. The successful candidate will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including construction contracts, consultancy agreements, service contracts, and purchase orders.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, monitor performance, and manage any deviations or potential risks.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of contract administration tasks, including document management, change order management, and claims management.
Provide guidance on contract interpretation and resolve any contract-related disputes or issues that may arise.
Track and manage contractual milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
Conduct regular contract audits to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate action plans.
Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance contract administration processes.
Support business development initiatives by reviewing and preparing tender documents and participating in client presentations.
Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and legal requirements to ensure compliance in contract administration activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in contract administration within the construction &/or real estate sectors.
Solid understanding of contract terms and conditions, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle disputes effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with local laws and regulations governing contracts in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is a plus.
Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Arabic is highly desired.
