Position Overview:
Petroraq is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Jubail, focusing on construction infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within the construction sector, with a specific emphasis on infrastructure projects. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance and Control:
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and standards in line with project requirements.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of materials, workmanship, and completed work.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality concerns and provide solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including reports, records, and certificates.
• Review and approve quality control plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and method statements.
• Document non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor and report on the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local and international safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct safety audits and enforce adherence to safety procedures on site.
• Promote a culture of quality and safety within the team and across all project activities.
• Training and Development:
• Provide training and support to site personnel on QA/QC procedures and best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in QA/QC roles within the construction infrastructure sector.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and QA/QC software tools.

Preferred:

• Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or related fields.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects in the KSA region.
