Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Evaluate bids and proposals from contractors and suppliers.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with contractors and vendors.
• Track and analyze project costs and expenses.
• Monitor and control project budgets and financial performance.
• Prepare progress reports and provide cost-related updates to project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel, and cost estimating software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and practices is a plus.
