About Us:
Excellence A.S. operates a leading spa and cosmetic retail business in Singapore, offering luxury skincare treatments and high-end beauty products. We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and optimizing our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full sets of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory requirements, including GST filings, corporate tax, CPF, and other regulatory submissions in compliance with Singapore's accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day finance operations, including bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and budget preparation.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommend actions for cost efficiency and business growth.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial controls and internal audit requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements and manage the year-end audit process.
- Provide financial analysis and support for management decisions, including profitability analysis and cost control measures.
- Assist in developing and improving financial processes and internal control systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/CA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the retail or beauty services industry.
- Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, and all statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Quick Books) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate tax and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
- High attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
