1. Market Insight and Competitive Analysis• Identify market opportunities, assess market potential, and understand the competitive landscape related to our products.• Analyze core metrics, strategic positioning, and pricing strategies of competitor products.• Swiftly detect market trends and customer business challenges to unearth product business opportunities, expedite their actualization, and establish a dominant competitive edge.2. Product Opportunity Assessment and In-depth Technical Communication• Represent the product line in formulating business strategies and assessing potential business opportunities.• For complex project requirements, work closely with the sales team to engage in in-depth technical discussions with clients. Leverage insights into industry trends and technological advancements to guide key customer decision-makers in specific technical contexts, thereby facilitating the conversion of opportunities into tangible outcomes.3. Product Solution Design and Technical Support• Understand customers’ business goals and technical requirements for complex initiatives. Offer cost-effective, competitive product solutions and provide technical support during selection, POC, and pricing.• Tailor key technical metrics to customer scenarios to create compelling bids for POCs and win-back campaigns.• Foster cross-team collaboration to improve project strategies, enhancing competitiveness in cost, performance, and stability.• Explore innovative product solutions to accelerate market entry and sustain product innovation.• Deliver essential technical support for major clients’ after-sales inquiries to drive business growth.4. Product Design & Optimization Support• By gaining a deep understanding of the industry and various scenarios, contribute to the design of critical functionalities, pricing strategies, and user experience of the product, assisting in sustaining its leadership within specific industries or use-case scenarios.• Pinpoint and precisely distill the shared needs and pain points of customers to inform product design, drive product enhancements and the convergence of multiple products, as well as facilitate the incubation of innovative products and features.5. Best Practices Consolidation and Enablement• Document niche best practices, release select Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) scripts, and capture benchmark success stories for project implementations. Standardize shared modules to accelerate product scaling.• Highlight superior product performance metrics and design targeted test cases to improve impact. Strengthen competitiveness through robust testing strategies.• Create go-to-market (GTM) materials, collaborate with partners on joint solutions, and enable the sales team and ecosystem partners.
Position Requirement
1. Over 5 years of experience in product or pre-sales solutions, preferably with knowledge of management and governance services (e.g., resources, iam, compliance, and organization) offered by Alibaba Cloud or other cloud service providers.2. Familiar with cloud computing products and architecture, with extensive experience in cloud management and operations; candidates with Landing Zone or Well-Architected project experience are preferred, as well as those holding ACP/ACE/ITIL certifications.3. Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, with hands-on experience in automation and familiarity with various ecosystem tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, etc.).4. Strong comprehension skills, creative thinking, excellent communication skills, and adept at cross-organizational collaboration.5. Strong execution ability, capable of handling multiple tasks, and able to work under pressure.6. Both English and Mandarin speaking skills are required. The role will need to work with the product team in China hence Mandarin listening and speaking skills are required.
