About the role:
Our client is an international healthcare company seeking for an Assistant Director of Marketing to lead brand marketing initiatives and event strategies across APAC for their key brand portfolios.
The role involves overseeing marketing strategy, product positioning, and brand activation, while collaborating with in-country sales and marketing teams to drive brand awareness and consumer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Key responsibilities include leveraging market insights, managing product launches, and building strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and media to increase brand recognition.
- Additionally, the role oversees event planning and execution, ensuring alignment with overall branding objectives.
- As a people leader, this role will manage a team of Brand Managers, providing mentorship and aligning their efforts with broader business goals.
- The position focuses on optimizing marketing strategies and delivering impactful results across the APAC region.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 15 years of experience in marketing and brand management, preferably within the pharmaceuticals and medical devices , or consumer health industries.
- Experience in people management, direct-to-consumer marketing, medical marketing, and event marketing is essential.
- Key skills include strong business acumen, familiarity with digital and social media, resilience, and excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- The candidate must be able to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across the region.
