Job Description
Residential College provide a unique living and learning experience for undergraduates in their first and second year. This new residential college will offer the UTown College Programme (UTCP) and contribute towards a holistic education that integrates academic, social, and personal development.
The incumbent for this position will provide administrative support for events/facilities management at the residential college and secretarial support for the Master. This is a full-time position which is offered on a 2-year renewable appointment for the first instance and is intended to be a long-term appointment for a suitable candidate.
The following lists the key job functions for this position:
- General office administration.
- End-to-end support for organizing College initiated events and activities (administration, logistics, budget, publicity, manpower, facilities booking etc).
- Manage College facilities bookings and access/security matters.
- Prepare annual space review report.
- Maintenance of College's space and facilities (eg seminar/theme rooms, parking etc).
- Inventory and fixed assets management.
- Personal Assistant to College Master (calendar management, claims assistant, travel arrangement, secretarial support for college meetings).
- Undertake any other assigned duties as and when required.
Qualifications
- A university degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Technologically savvy and able to resolve simple IT issues (hardware and software).
- Willingness to learn with an eye for detail.
- Adaptable with a positive work attitude.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
