As part of Danone Milk team, this category is crucial those the Special Nutrition categories as an enabler to support the growth in Asia Pacific and China.

Key Responsibilities

• Category management
  
  • Define and implement regional sourcing strategies for Milk Powder Category
  - Secure raw material availability and follow up inventory management - in partnership with regional supply chain.
  
  • Source new milk powders manufacturers across regions
• Suppliers Relationship Management
  
  • Suppliers’ performance KPIs monitoring.
  • Suppliers and Traders relationship management.
• Reporting
  
  • Prepare category reports as required to support sourcing activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely approval of supplier prices.
  • Report on coverage (price & volume) according to strategy and MRM policy
  • Financial reporting: supplier pricing validation, productivity reports alignment with SPs, risks & opportunities estimation, etc.
• Cost Optimization
  
  • Propose cost optimisation and improvement through spend analysis, tender, e-sourcing and physical hedging.
  • Negotiate yearly and spot contracts with suppliers and traders.
• Hedging
  
  • Coordinate with global risk management team in implementing hedging strategy of dairy ingredient in the region.

About you

• Procurement experience and Project Management experience or in FMCG company
• MS offices
• Proficient in both spoken and written English
• Bachelor degree in Procurement, Food Quality, Food Production, Engineering or Business
• Experience in managing a category

• Excellent communicator at all levels internally & externally with all stakeholders.
• Negotiation skills and strong business acuity
• Good understanding of regulation and contract management
• Ability to create and build a sustainable network internally & externally with all stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and possesses strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• Effective in time management and planning skills
• Proactive and takes initiative
• Strong team player
