Responsibilities
Requirements
- Work within the Data Engineering team to design and implement scalable and robust software platform for ingesting and transforming telco network datasets in (near) real-time using a variety of open-source and proprietary Big Data technologies.
- Collaborate with product management, sales and marketing, and solution delivery teams to support the objectives that customer requirements are well managed and reflected in product releases.
- Support the deployment of Data Spark software within clients' IT environment.
- Work closely with stake holders to ensure high standards of data governance during implementation.
Requirements
- Computer science, data analytics, business analytics under-graduates with a keen interest in tools& platforms that moves high volume of data to empower data science and machine learning discovery.
- Have been programming in either school projects, personal projects, open-source projects with a passion on deepening skills in data engineering tech stack such as Spark, Hadoop, Presto.
- Demonstrated proficiency in either Scala or Python programming language.
- Demonstrated clear and thorough logical and analytical thinking, as well as problem solving skills.
- Knowledge in algorithms, data structures and proficiency in SQLs.
- Attention to details with an innate concern on data quality & accuracy.
