Role and Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of contemporary theories and literature to support the growth, well-being, learning and development of each child (Ages 2 mths – 17 mths).
• Assist in planning and implementing Developmentally Appropriate Teaching, Learning and Caregiving Approaches Aligned to Curriculum Frameworks.
• Prepare, submit and implement learning experiences that are age appropriate which is in accordance to ECDA - Early Years Development Framework.
• Maintain and update observation records of infants and toddlers ongoing progress throughout the term and evaluate their holistic development.
• Timely documenting in the portfolio, checklist and school management systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues to prepare and provide a variety of materials and resources for infants and toddlers to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities through imaginative play.
• Ensure a safe and healthy physical environment for infants and toddlers by adhering to regulations regarding basic health, hygiene, and safety.
• Any other ad-hoc projects or duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) and other qualifications as required by ECDA (if applicable)
• Minimum 1-year relevant working experience in working with 2 mths – 17 mnth year olds
• Excellent Soft skills

7.00 am - 4.00 pm/
8.00 am – 5.00pm/
9.00 am – 6.00 pm/
10.00 am – 7.00 pm
Alternate Saturdays:
9.00 am - 1.00 pm
