Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for finance and accounting? Our company is seeking a Finance and Accounting Intern to join our team and help us manage our financial operations. As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will work closely with our finance team to support initiatives such as financial operations and management reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support transactions relating to the accounts receivable or accounts payable functions (e.g. invoicing, processing receipts from customers, payments to suppliers, checking of monthly reports)
Assist in month-end closing related tasks and gain exposure to different journal entries passed for various accounting functions
Work extensively with spreadsheets and assist in the migration of accounting system
Assist the team to perform control checks on finance process and provide inputs to enhance the existing policy
Participate in cross-functional discussions to ensure financial initiatives align with business objectives for ongoing and new initiatives
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, including collecting and analyzing data
Other ad-hoc duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Creative and innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
