Key Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts , including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Handle GST submissions and assist with corporate tax filings.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Reconcile bank accounts and perform other daily financial operations such as managing petty cash and bank deposits.
• Ensure accurate data entry into accounting systems and maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in preparing management reports , financial analysis, and audit schedules.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls , company policies, and financial procedures.
• Perform any other ad-hoc financial duties as assigned by the finance manager.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance , or a related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting/finance experience ; experience in Construction, Marine, or Oil & Gas industries is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Quick Books, Xero) and MS Office , especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory requirements (GST, CPF, Income Tax).
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
