Finance Manager

In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of four finance professionals in Singapore, ensuring daily accounting operations are seamless, and financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with company guidelines and external standards. You’ll collaborate closely with regional management and our head office in Denmark to align financial strategy with business performance, adding value through strategic insights and hands-on leadership.

The Asia finance team scope spans Singapore, Vietnam, and China, managing financial operations across these dynamic markets. You’ll work alongside colleagues who bring strong analytical skills and a shared commitment to excellence. As our Finance Manager, your mentorship will be key in fostering their development while ensuring financial compliance and strategic alignment.
This role reports to Managing Director Asia, Morten Østergaard Jacobsen, and Group Finance Director, Michael Ebsen, who has the following to say about the role of finance manager: “The finance manager role in Singapore requires an individual capable of navigating the commercial needs of the local team in Singapore while adhering to the governance and reporting requirements of the Group”.
Your areas of focus

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four finance professionals in Singapore
• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring smooth and accurate processes
• Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, Tax, and GST requirements
• Prepare estimates, budgets, and annual reports, and lead year-end audits
• Manage cash flow and foster robust internal controls
• Act as a trusted point of contact with local external auditors

Your professional skills

• At least 3 years of experience in an auditing firm
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or ACCA certifications are a plus
• Proven track record in financial management, team leadership, and mentorship
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial reporting standards
• Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency) and ERP systems
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, as it is our business language
