Job Description

Responsible for monthly closing process including preparation of journal entries, bank

Reconciliations and schedules.

Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports, statutory financial statements and internal/external audit matters.

Ensure that vendor invoices and sales invoices are posted accurately into accounting system.

Prepare documents required by IRAS and MPA or different government department.

Daily checking of AR AP invoices.

Creating journal entries for receipts and payments.

Reconsolidation with internal and external accounts.

Preparing of monthly debtor aging report.

Preparing of monthly bank /credit line and bank reconciliation.

Preparing of monthly financial Statements schedules.

Preparing journals for monthly reporting.

Collecting and compiling documents for audit.

Liaise with external auditor during annual statutory audits and other audit.

Any other task assigned

Job Requirement

Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a must, in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience handling full sets of accounts.

Proficient in MS Office application.

An independent individual with initiative and able to work well under pressure.

Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance or related fields.

Relevant experiences in Shipping Industry preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills, bilingual in English and Chinese

Proficient in Excel and Word

The ability to be a team player

Able to multi-task and work independently
