We are seeking a Head of Procurement & Planning for our Tank and Hold cleaning solution area. In this role, you will lead and manage sourcing, procurement, and inventory planning globally for a solutions area. Responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement strategies, leading the procurement and planning team, managing the production network, establishing long-term relationships with strategic suppliers, and collaborating with various business functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Pricing, etc.).
The Tank and Holding solutions team has a strong presence in Norway, Denmark, Germany, Singapore and Turkey, which include a team of product experts, a technical sales team and a dedicated Specialist Center for customer support. Who you will report to:
This position reports to the Product Management and Planning Director.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the Tank and Hold Cleaning solutions procurement and planning team, developing key performance indicators and supporting team growth.
- Design and implement business tools at all levels, including global strategic procurement plans, inventory policies, and performance metrics.
- Negotiate agreements with strategically important suppliers, focusing on global toll blenders, and monitor their performance and compliance.
- Focus on product development and innovation, ensuring compliance with ESG requirements.
- Monitor product availability and demand trends in the Tank and Hold Cleaning Solutions portfolio.
What we are looking for:

Master’s degree or equivalent – formal education in engineering, technical studies and / or business administration

3+ years managerial experience in developing , managing procurements and/or in inventory or supply chain management in international standards

Extensive exposure to contract law and contract management

Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.

International experience and knowledge of the maritime industry are advantageous.

Willingness to travel.
